Here you go with another Andhra Traditional recipe *katte Pongal*

Ingredients
Rice *** चावल *** బియ్యం
Water *** पानी *** నీళ్లు
Moong dal *** मूंग दाल *** పెసల పప్పు
Black pepper *** काली मिर्च *** నల్ల మిరియాలు
Cumin *** जीरा *** జీలకర్ర
Salt *** नमक *** ఉ ప్పు
Ghee *** घी *** నెయ్యి
Cashew nuts *** काजू *** జీడిపప్పు
Curry leaf *** करी पत्ता *** కరివేపాకు
Peanuts/groundnuts *** मूंगफली ***వేరుశెనగ
Green chillies *** हरी मिर्च *** పచ్చిమిర్చి
Garlic *** लहसुन *** వెల్లుల్లి
tamarind *** इमली *** చింతపండు

*Katte Pongal* Step-By-Step procedure
-[] Soak rice in water for one hour
-[] Dry roast 100 grams moong dal, till the color changes to golden brown.
-[]Now add roasted moong dal into the soaked rice.
-[] lets boil 2.5 ltrs of water in a big vessel
-[] crush 1 tbsp black pepper and 2 tbsp Cumins for katte pongal masala
-[]Once water is boiled add soaked rice and
-[] keep mixing with the wooden spatula
-[]Now add Salt and mix well
-[] rice and moong dal should cook well (try to smach cooked rice and moong dal with wooden spatula)
-[] Take a pan add 3 tbsp Ghee,
-[] add 10 grams cashew nuts
-[] Now add crushed black pepper and Cumins
-[] add 10-15 Curry leaf
-[] Now check the rice has cooked well then add katte pongal masala tempering into it and mix well
-[] Close the lid and let it cook for 3 min and off the stove
-[] Now take a grider add roasted peanuts, Green chillies, Garlic cloves, tamarind, Salt .
-[] make fine paste of it.
-[] add water and dilute the paste
-[] Now the Katte Pongal is ready to serve with peanut chutney
